Our mission is to enable young adults with developmental disabilities to realize their talents, strengths and capabilities in order to live and work in our community as independently as possible. Knowing that instruction is the key that will unlock our young adults’ personal and academic potential, we work toward our mission by integrating functional literacy, functional math, social studies and current events, occupational and vocational training, technology, the arts, and community-based instruction for all students.
721K Students Participate in the Annual Parks Department Paralympics
P721K Internship Fair
Our 3rd annual Internship Fair will be held on
March 6th (Full-time and for visitors), 7th (Selected classes and for parents), and 8th (In-house visits for selected classes).
The fair will be held at our main school site,
located at 64 Avenue X, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11223.
During this event, students will be showcasing their experiences at various vocational-based settings they are currently involved in at our in-house and full-time worksites. It will be an amazing experience to see all the great work being done by our high school students with special needs, as they prepare for post-secondary possibilities upon graduation. This fair will also benefit the 721K community, as we can display the partnering community organizations and agencies we are very grateful to work with.
